Specifications of LG G Watch (LG-W100) have just leaked out online, confirming its 1.65-inch display panel and 4GB internal memory. It is rumored that this smartwatch wearable is going to be used as reference design for the upcoming Android Wear platform at Google’s I/O conference later this month.
According to the leaker, @upleaks, LG G Watch will feature a 1.65-inch display with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels (pixel density: 240ppi). This smartwatch is rumored to pack Snapdragon 400 SoC, 4GB of internal memory, 512MB of RAM, and will run Google’s upcoming Android Wear Platform.
It is said to be powered by 400mAh Li-Polymer battery that can survive in Standby mode for up to 36 hours and it can be fully charged using its microUSB in just two hours. It measures 37.9 x 46.5 x 9.95 mm and weighs 61 grams only. It packs loads of sensors including Ambient, Touch, Pedometer and tilt sensor. This watch will be able to sync notifications with your phone via the built-in low-power Bluetooth 4.0.
Latest reports suggest that this smartwatch will be more affordable as compared to Samsung Tizen-powered Gear 2. As mentioned earlier, this wearable is expected to show up at Google I/O conference which is going to be held on June 25 in San Francisco.
