Microsoft has officially taken the wraps off its next-gen Nokia X Android smartphone, named Nokia X2 Dual SIM. Nokia X2 (RM-1013) comes with a generous new 4.3 inches Nokia ClearBlack display panel alongside a slew of under-the-hood upgrades aimed at giving it an extra performance boost with a new dual core Cortex A7 CPU based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chip and a 2 gigabytes RAM.

Although Nokia has managed to bump the screen size from 4″ to 4.3″, its resolution still remains unchanged at 480 x 800 pixels – resulting in a relatively lower pixel density of about 217 ppi only. In addition to the enhanced hardware, Microsoft is also offering 7 gigabytes of free OneDrive cloud storage with every Nokia X2 handset.
Its 1800mAh Lithium-Ion battery is capable of providing enough juice for up to 10 hours of talktime on 2G network and up to 13 hours of talktime on 3G network. It can survive 552 hours in standby without recharge.

Release Date and Price
Nokia X2 has officially been priced at €99/$135 (excluding tax and subsidies) and it will be available globally starting from today.
