Nokia Lumia 630 received a minor new OS update (version 8.10.12397.895) earlier today. This new OS update brings several bug-fixes including a patch for continuous focus issue in recently-updated Nokia Camera app. This update is being rolled out over-the-air and it might take some time before it reaches your device.
Using the new continuous autofocus feature, Lumia 630 users will now be able to keep their camera automatically focused while capturing videos without having to tap the screen. Apart from fixing the aforementioned issue, this update lets users place Skype video calls right from the phone dialer using a new inbuilt skype button that has replaced Lumia’s antediluvian video-call button. A new OS 10.2.1.3247 (no, it still isn’t 10.3) update has allegedly been leaked out online for Blackberry Z30, BlackBerry Q10/Q5, BlackBerry Z10 (STL100-1 variant), and BlackBerry Z3 smartphones. This update is apparently being tested by carriers before the final release, but now that its Autoloaders have already surfaced on the web, you can easily apply this update using the direct download links given below. At the I/O Developers Conference yesterday, apart from unveiling the new Android L (lollipop), Google also announced a slight change to its usual Android deployment process – in a sense that rather than making new Android builds available for Nexus users right away, it’ll now push a Developer Preview build for devs and OEMs first and then the final build will be delivered to end-users in the fall; that was their new plan. However, users were still uncertain whether their current devices will receive the Android L update or not. That was until now.
