This update sticks with Android v4.4.2 OS and is primarily aimed at offering users with a couple of bug-fixes and feature ameliorations like improved touchscreen performance, better call quality, and faster battery recharging in low-power conditions. Panasonic has officially unveiled the company’s new hardcore Android smartphone, dubbed Eluga U, primarily targeted at Indian customers who’re looking for a higher-end branded smartphone with reasonable specs that is not too hard on the pocket either. Panasonic Eluga U sports a 5-inch HD IPS display panel, a quad-core processor based on Snapdragon chipset, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box.
Yet-unannounced Micromax Canvas L (aka Micromax A108) has just popped up in the smartphone listing on Micromax’s official website. Canvas L (A108) is a mid-tier smartphone that sports a 5.5-inch qHD screen, quad-core MediaTek processor and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS right of the box.
Only a few days after seeding a minor v1.74 stability update, Sony has officially rolled out the anticipated firmware v1.75 update for its PlayStation 4 console, adding support for Blu-Ray 3D playback and improving sound quality on Blu-Ray and DVD videos during 1.5x playback speed.
