Samsung has officially outed the much-awaited Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update (build G7102XXUBNG4) for its Galaxy Grand 2 Dual-Sim smartphone (SM-G7102) in India. Weighing over 360MB, this update is being rolled out over the air (OTA), so it might take some time before it reaches your device.
Just like any other KitKat update from Samsung, this update also brings a slew of bug-fixes, performance improvements and some feature enhancements like support for wireless printing, lockscreen camera shortcut, music album art displayed on lockscreen while playing music, new Emojis, White Status Bar icons, option to choose the default messaging app, support for closed captions, updates for native Samsung apps and much more.
