In case I forgot to mention it earlier, Sony has also outed the Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware for the Dual-Sim variant of its Xperia E1 (D2105) phone – bumping the firmware version to 20.1.B.0.64. You can download its FTF file using the direct download links given below and then apply it using the latest version of Flashtool.
Apart from offering the latest KitKat, firmware 20.1.B.0.64 features improved performance, updated native Xperia apps, tweaked Status Bar, revamped OS interface, enhanced Camera app and colorful new Emoji icons. To receive this update via OTA, go to Settings » About phone » Software updates » System updates.

I really don’t see what’s keeping Sony from updating Xperia SP to KitKat. It specifically meets all the firmware requirements and is much more powerful than Xperia E1 and E1 Dual. Right now, all we can do is wait and see what happens next.
By the way, Sony has officially confirmed that it’ll be delivering KitKat update to Xperia M2 and M2 Dual soon. Stay tuned!
