Sony has finally started seeding out the long-awaited KitKat OS update (firmware build 14.4.B.0.37) for the T-Mobile Xperia Z1S (C6916) smartphone, adding a slew of new features & UI ameliorations like overhauled Quick Settings layout, transparent notifications bar, new themes & boot animation and Sony SmartBand wearable compatibility. Moreover, Sony promises that this update will improve overall system stability, call reception/quality and touchscreen responsiveness.

Sony recently rolled out a new firmware update (version 3.18) for its PlayStation Vita console, seemingly meant to fix some stability bugs and security issues that were left unnoticed in previous software updates. You can either download this update through your Wifi connection or manually via the direct download links to its PUP file given below.

Nearly a month ago, Xolo outed a beta version of its long-promised Android 4.4.2 KitKat and asked users to find & report bugs in that build. Well, the good news is that the firmware has now come out of the beta phase and does seem quite ready for prime time. It is being rolled out in India right via OTA and you should be receiving pretty soon. I’ve also given the direct download links and a step-by-step tutorial for this update below.
