Sony has officially begun the global distribution of a new firmware update based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat for its Xperia M2 D2303, bumping its software version to 18.3.C.0.40. This update is currently being made available in the United States, Central Europe and Latin America through PC Update Companion. You can download the FTF image of this update below and apply it manually using the latest version of Xperia Flashtool.
