The unlocked HTC One M8 has finally started receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update (v4.19.707.2) in Malaysia. This version is still based on Sense 6.0 but it does come with the latest Lollipop security patches, revamped Lockscreen and Notifications, enhanced privacy and search within Settings. You can download the OTA package as well or the Nandroid image of this update via the direct links available below.

Well, you know the procedure – verify that this package is appropriate for your device (“fastboot getvar all”), download & copy it to your device, reboot into the stock recovery mode and install this package.
If you’ve got TWRP, then download the Nandroid backup given above and extract it to TWRP/Backups/[Your Serial-No]. First reboot your phone into the bootloader and flash the following file using Fastboot in the extracted Nandroid folder on your PC: “fastboot flash boot boot.img”
Now continue to the TWRP, perform full wipe of Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache, then go to Restore and finally choose the backup.
