How to Downgrade to KitKat
The package you download from above already includes the instructions in a PDF document but here’s a brief step-by-step tutorial anyway.
Step 1: Download B380 KitKat firmware on your PC and extract it (download here).
Step 2: Download B500 transition firmware from the aforementioned link and extract its Update.app file too.
Step 3: Make sure you have the L04 variant currently running B507 Lollipop beta with stock recovery.
Step 4: First of all, transfer B500’s Update.app package to the “dload” folder of your phone’s external SD card.
Step 5: After that, disconnect the USB cable and install B500 through Settings > Updates > Local Update. Your phone will reboot and install the package. Upon startup, your build number should be B500 (check from Settings > About Phone).
Step 6: Now copy B380’s Update.app to the same “dload” folder – remove the previous Update.app otherwise issues may occur.
Step 7: Install B380 through Local Update and wait for the device to reboot, verify the package and flash it. That’s all – you’ve finally got your KitKat system back!
