How to Install
This firmware is only recommended the European Honor 3C with C432Bxxx market number (not C900Bxxx) running one of the following Jelly Bean builds:
» V100R001C432B109
» V100R001C432B110
» V100R001C432B111
Step 1: You need to be running stock Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS with unmodified recovery. The bootloader should also be locked – root should be fine though!
Step 2: Download “H30-U10_V100R001C432B306.zip” from above and extract Update.app from it.
Step 3: Copy this Update.app package to your external SD card. It should be formatted in FAT32 filesystem.
Step 4: Make a backup of your existing data through the built-in utility or SP Flash Tool. A complete nandroid backup created through a custom recovery like TWRP.
Step 5: Now initiate the upgrade from Settings > Updates > System Updates > Local Update. Your device should automatically reboot, verify the package and flash it.
Step 6: [Optional] After the reboot, unlock the bootloader again and reflash your important stuff like TWRP and SuperSU.
Step 7: In case you’re unable to access Local Update, you can flash this firmware by forced SD upgrade method. Turn your phone off and reboot while holding Vol up + Vol down + Power until you are directed to the stock recovery. It’ll just take a few minutes to flash the package.
Have fun!
