1. Requirements
- A USB cable and latest ADB drivers installed on your computer (HiSuite recommended).
- Access to ADB & Fastboot (download). Install this package on the PC you’re going to use.
- At least 25% charge in the battery.
- A custom recovery like TWRP or CWM [Optional] in case you’re planning to root the device.
2. Procedure
Step 1: Firstly, you’re going to obtain the unlock code from Huawei. It’s quite easy – you just need to Email them the following details about your device.

Serial Number
IMEI 1
IMEI 2
Product ID
The model number, serial and IMEI can be found in Settings → About phone → Status. For Product ID, enter *#*#1357946#*#* in the dialer.
Step 2: They usually reply with the unlock code within a couple of hours. Once you get the code, connect your Honor 4C to the PC in HiSuite mode. Make sure “USB Debugging” has been enabled in Developer options.
Step 3: Open ADB & Fastboot from your desktop and execute this command: adb reboot-bootloader
Step 4: When your phone reboots into the Rescue/Fastboot mode, enter this command (this will verify that the USB connection is stable): fastboot devices
Step 5: Finally, unlock the bootloader by executing this command: fastboot oem unlock [16-digit code]
Step 6: Your device will now display “Phone Unlocked” in red. Congratulations – you may now flash any third-party recovery or kernel you want!
Step 7: Now, exit the Rescue Mode by entering this command: fastboot continue
