How to Update
Step 1: This firmware is only compatible with MT7-L09 model having C00Bxx market number (Europe). You can verify this from Settings > About Phone.
Step 2: Download the firmware zip file from above and extract the Update.app package from it.
Step 3: Connect your Mate 7 to the PC in MTP mode and copy that Update.app file to “dload” folder of its external SD card. The SD card needs to have FAT32 file formatting.
Step 4: After the package’s been copied, disconnect the USB cable and install the new firmware from Settings > Updates > Menu > Local Update. You’re recommended to create a backup first. Your device will automatically reboot and install the new update.
Step 5: If for some reason you are not able to perform Local Update, simply boot your phone while holding Volume up + Volume down + Power for a couple of secs – after you’ve copied the Update.app to the SD Card, of course.
