Huawei has finally released the B830 Android 5.1.1 firmware for its Ascend P7-L10 based on Emotion UI 3.1 in Spain. Unlike the OTA package, you can install this firmware over almost any KitKat build.

How to Install
Step 1: As I mentioned earlier this firmware doesn’t require any specific KitKat build but you should note that it can only be installed on the L10 variant with C900 branding/market.
Step 2: After downloading the Zip package extract its contents to your PC. You’ll get a “dload” folder (containing Update.app).
Step 3: Copy this dload folder to the main folder of your P7’s external microSD card.
Step 4: Finally, open Settings > Updates > Menu > Local Update. Tap the update package and confirm the installation. Make sure you’ve performed a full system backup first.
Step 5: Forced SD Upgrade: After copying the dload folder, turn off your phone and then boot while holding Vol up + Vol down + Power. Your phone will automatically start the installation.
