An official rollback package (B300) is now available for Huawei P9 users to let them restore their Nougat running devices back to the original Marshmallow (Emotion UI 4.1) firmware. The downgrade packages for supported regions can be downloaded via the direct links provided below.

Rollback Instructions
Step 1. Download the appropriate rollback firmware from one of the aforementioned links and extract the zip package.
Step 2. Copy the extracted dload folder to the external storage of your phone.
Step 3. Take a full backup using the inbuilt app provided by Huawei.
Step 4. Disconnect the USB cable and turn your phone off.
Step 5. Now hold Volume up + Volume down + Power buttons until the installation screen appears.
Step 6. When the phone restarts after completing the installation, your firmware version should now be “B300”.
Step 7. Download a stock Marshmallow firmware compatible with your phone’s region/model (B190 for Russia or B210 for Middle East) and extract the zip on your PC.
Step 8. Now copy Marshmallow’s update.app package you obtained in the previous step to the dload folder already present in the external microSD card of your phone (delete the previous update.app file).
Step 9. Finally, turn off your phone and hold Vol up + Vol down + Power for a few seconds to start installing Marshmallow.
Compatibility Note: The rollback firmware provided above are only intended for devices running a C10 (Russian) or C185 (Middle East/Africa) based Nougat firmware. For other regions use the appropriate rollback packages or try installing the Marshmallow firmware directly using the dload method.
