How to Downgrade
Compatibility Guide: The Middle Eastern/African package will only work on devices running a C185Bxx firmware whereas the Russian package is intended for C10Bxx based phones and the Asian package for C636 models only.
In case you’re using a Nougat beta firmware from another region you should be able to directly install Marshmallow from that region by dloading it.
Step 1:Â Take a full backup of all your important data using HiSuite or Huawei Backup app.
Step 2:Â Download the appropriate rollback Zip package and extract its contents on your PC.
Step 3:Â Copy the extracted dload folder to the external microSD card of your device.
Step 4: Now power your phone off.
Step 5:Â Next, hold Volume down + Volume up + Power for a few seconds until the rollback starts.
Step 6: Upon completion, allow the device to restart and confirm that the firmware version is now “B500”.
Step 7: Now download any full Marshmallow firmware build available for your phone’s model and region (you can search this site to find one).
Step 8: Extract the downloaded firmware package on your computer and copy the Update.app file to the same dload folder present in your phone’s SD card (don’t forget to remove the previous update.app file).
Step 9:Â Now turn your phone off and install the firmware using the same 3-key method mentioned in Step 4.
