Some Huawei P8 (GRA-L09 & GRA-UL00) variants have officially been updated to the new B371 Marshmallow firmware via OTA in Latin American countries. In addition to improving system stability & performance, this update bumps the Android security patch level to June 1.

How to Update
- Download the appropriate firmware package by verifying your phone’s model number from Settings > About Phone. Make sure your phone is already running a C605 based firmware.
- After downloading the correct update.zip package, extract the UPDATE.APP file from it.
- Create a new folder “dload” in the external microSD card or internal memory of your phone.
- Copy the extracted UPDATE.APP package to the new dload folder.
- Disconnect the USB cable and turn your phone off.
- Now hold Vol down + Vol up + Power for a few seconds until the phone starts up. The update installation will automatically start and take a few minutes to complete.
