How to Update (FF Method)
Before installing this update, make sure your phone is already running a C432 based (European) firmware.
Step 1:Â Download and install the Firmware Finder app from the Play Store.
Step 2: Open the firmware finder app, go to settings from the menu and enable “Use proxy for install” – press the download addon button when prompted and then proceed to installing that addon.
Step 3: Go to your phone’s Settings → Wifi → Tap & hold on the network you’re currently connected to and select Modify network → Show Advanced options > Manual. Here, enter localhost for Proxy hostname and 8080 for Proxy port. Tap Save to exit.
Step 4: Next, return to the Firmware Finder app, select the full PV version of B398 firmware (make sure it matches your current model and build) and send it to the firmware updater.
Step 5:Â Return to Settings > Updater. It should now look for an update. When a new update is found, go to current Wifi network’s settings and disable the proxy (Wifi > Modify network > Proxy > None > Save).
Step 6:Â Return to the Updater app, download the available update and confirm its installation.
Stay tuned for more updates!
