At the I/O Developers Conference yesterday, apart from unveiling the new Android L (lollipop), Google also announced a slight change to its usual Android deployment process – in a sense that rather than making new Android builds available for Nexus users right away, it’ll now push a Developer Preview build for devs and OEMs first and then the final build will be delivered to end-users in the fall; that was their new plan.
