I’ve written a number of guides on upgrading Honor 3C on different Chinese KitKat updates and, since the basic process involved in every tutorial is the same, this guide isn’t any different at all. Huawei has seeded out yet another Android 4.4.2 KitKat update (version 4.8.1) for all the variants of its iconic Honor 3C (3G) smartphone to developers in China. It is apparently aimed at supplementing the OS with additional bug-fixes, performance enhancements and loads of new features.
