Apart from Honor 3C, the kernel source code of Honor 3X grounded on Android 4.4 KitKat (EMUI 3.0) has also been made available by Huawei. This source code weighs in at 443 MB for both the 3X and 3X Pro.
After (unnecessarily) spending months in beta testing the KitKat update, Huawei has finally started the rollout of stable Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware based on the cool Emotion UI 3.0 (skipping EMUI 2.3 altogether) in China for Honor 3C (U10/T10/T00), Honor 3X (T00) and Honor 3X Pro (T20) smartphones.

Those unlucky users who happen to own a JellyBean-powered Honor 3X Pro (G750-T20) will certainly be glad to hear that they can now upgrade their smartphone to the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Emotion UI version 2.3 using the beta firmware that Huawei has outed in China to developers and beta-testers. It surely contains bugs but it’ll be worth it – believe me!
